Since turning professional Wendell has won more major championships than any shooter in the sport. He has frequently been referred to as the “Tiger Woods” of sporting clays. His dominance has led to All American Team Captain in 2006, 2007 & 2008, Team USA Sporting Captain 2006, 2007, 2008 and Team USA FITASC Captain 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2 time US OPEN Champion and numerous Team World Championships. He has been a member of the All American Team and both Team
This same dominance has been carried over into his teaching as well. His roster of students includes:
Ashleigh Hafley – 2005 Ladies National Champion, Captain All American Team and member of both Team USA Sporting and FITASC several yrs running and again with a list of major championships too long to mention.
David Radulovich-US Open, World Champion, National Champion, All American and Team USA member. He has an unparalleled record at 14 yrs of age.
Curt Mauldin – 1st All American Team member, member of Team USA Sporting and Team USA FITASC with numerous major victories.
Hub Johnson – Junior World FITASC Champion, Capt. Junior All American Team, member of Team USA
Ron Shafer –winner of the prestigious World Cup in FITASC, Capt of Super Veteran All American team, member of Team USA
This is only a short list of our 15 All Americans that we have for 2007 and we are equally proud of all their efforts.
